DSI Holdings Limited and its subsidiary companies have always come forward during natural causes such as floods, draughts and the deadly Tsunami.

During rainy season where floods are common and when draughts hit the dry zones in some parts of the country the company and its welfare societies of individual subsidiaries gets involved to assist the families that have been affected.

With the help of the local & international partners along with company allocated funds, many rebuilding projects were undertaken in the highly affected Galle Town after the Tsunami in the year 2004.

Within few days the fruits and fish markets were restored. Many individual business owners were given assistance to restart there operations.
